BIOTIC BARRIER (-1 Refresh) 40px-Me2barrier.png

Device: Exceptional, Demanding x1 (One action), Situational (only if doesn’t take more stress)

Adept, Vanguard. A Biotic Barrier must be Overcome with a difficulty of +4 before Stress or Consequences can be applied. To recharge a Biotic Barrier that has been Overcome take a full action and do not suffer any stress for a full exchange. Biotic barriers use mass effect fields to protect a user from damage similar to that of a kinetic barrier, but with some unique characteristics. Warp, Shockwave, and rapid firing weapons are best at bringing down a Biotic Barrier and can be invoked to do so.

BIOTIC COMBO (-1 Refresh)

Technique: Exceptional (attack all enemies in a zone), Situational (when invoking a biotic effect), Situational (only with Detonator Powers)

Adept, Sentinel, Vanguard. When attacking an enemy and invoking a Biotic Aspect placed on them with a Source Power (I.E. Singularity, Warp or Pull) using a Detonator Power (I.E. Throw or Shockwave) you cause a powerful explosion affecting all enemies in a zone. Biotic Combos cause a wave of biotic force that damages and knocks back enemies.

HEAVY NOVA (-1 Refresh) 40px-Slam.png

Technique: Harm +2, Situational (only against unshielded targets )

Vanguard. Gain +2 damage when using Nova to attack targets not protected by shields or barriers. Increase damage of Nova attacks.

HEAVY PULL (-1 Refresh) 40px-Pull_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Focus +2, Situational (only to pull target)

Adept, Vanguard. Gain +2 to use Pull to Create Advantage of “Floating helplessly”. Pull generates a mass-lowering field, which levitates enemies into the air. While aloft, enemies will slowly drift towards the player, allowing any allies or the player to finish them off effortlessly.

HEAVY SHOCKWAVE (-1 Refresh) 40px-Shockwave_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Focus +2, Situational (only to knock target down)

Adept, Vanguard. Gain +2 to use Shockwave to Create Advantage of “Knocked Down”. Your Shockwave’s power strengthens to become a biotic freight train, swatting aside anything in its path.

HEAVY SINGULARITY (-1 Refresh) 40px-Singularity_ME2_icon.png

Technique: Focus +2, Situational (only to Create “Floating Helplessly” Advantage )

Adept. Gain +2 when using Singularity to Create the Advantage “Floating Helplessly” to targets not protected by shields or barriers. Your singularity sphere can hold enemies helpless for a long period.

HEAVY THROW (-1 Refresh) 40px-Throw_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Harm +2, Situational (Only if target is in a zone with wall or object)

Adept, Sentinel. If a target is in the same zone as a wall or other appropriate surface a Throw does Weapon 2 damage as they are slammed against it. Fling a single enemy with unparalleled momentum, smashing it against walls with hurricane force.

Technique: Harmful x2, Situational (Only against unshielded opponents)

Adept, Sentinel. Warp attack now does Weapon 2 damage against unshielded opponents. Your Warp damage is hugely increased.

IMPROVED CHARGE (-1 Refresh) 40px-Charge_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Exceptional (Instantly leave or appear in a scene), Situational (only to Zones with Enemies), Effort (Focus +2)

Vanguard. Make a Focus Overcome roll of +2 to target a foe anywhere within line of sight. If successful the vanguard moves to the zone containing the enemy and may make an Attack or Create Advantage to knock them down.Charge requires a target and a clear line of sight to function.

IMPROVED NOVA (-1 Refresh) 40px-Charge_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Focus +2, Situational (only to Create “Knocked Down” Advantage to targets not protected by shields or barriers )

Vanguard. Gain +2 when using Nova to Create the Advantage “Knocked Down” to targets not protected by shields or barriers. Increase the force of Nova to knock targets down.

IMPROVED SHOCKWAVE (-1 Refresh) 40px-Shockwave_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Exceptional (all enemies in a zone), Demanding (Focus +2 Overcome Roll), Limited (once per scene)

Adept, Vanguard. Once per scene make a Focus Overcome Roll of +2 to attack all targets in a Zone with Shockwave. Your Shockwave now has a wide impact radius, taking out everything in a broad strip in front of you.

PIERCING WARP (-1 Refresh) 40px-Warp_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Focus x2, Situational (only targets with armor or barriers)

Adept, Sentinel. If an unshielded target is using a Biotic Barrier or wearing Armor gain a +2 to attack them. Increase damage to barriers and armor.

PULL FIELD (-1 Refresh) 40px-Pull_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Exceptional (1 zone), Demanding (One Action and a Fair +2 Focus Overcome roll)

Adept, Sentinel. This requires the biotic to concentrate for an exchange and make a Focus Overcome roll of +2. If successful can target all characters in a zone and pull them with a single Create Advantage action that all of them must roll against. Affects all nearby targets, suspending entire groups in the air.

THROW FIELD (-1 Refresh) 40px-Pull_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Exceptional (1 zone), Demanding (One Action and a Fair +2 Focus Overcome roll)

Adept, Sentinel. This requires the biotic to concentrate for an exchange and make a Focus Overcome roll of +2. If successful can target all characters in a zone and throw them with a single Create Advantage action that all of them must roll against. Your mastery of biotic throws allows you to hurl multiple targets into the air simultaneously.

UNSTABLE WARP (-1 Refresh) 40px-Warp_ME2_Icon.png

Technique: Harmful 2, Situational (Requires Biotic Combo)

Adept, Sentinel. When attacking an enemy and invoking a Biotic Aspect placed on them with a Unstable Warp using a Detonator Power (I.E. Throw or Shockwave) you cause a powerful explosion affecting all enemies in a zone doing an additional Weapon 2 damage to them. Increases the blast damage when Warp detonates biotic effects.

WIDE SINGULARITY (-1 Refresh) 40px-Singularity_ME2_icon.png

Technique: Exceptional (1 zone), Situational (only targets without shields or barriers), Situational (only to Create Advantage of floating helplessly)

Adept. When using Singularity to Create the Advantage “Floating Helplessly” the biotic effects all objects and targets in a zone that aren’t protected by shields or barriers. The radius of your singularity sphere’s gravitational pull increases.
